The Florist: Helping Lipa City Spread Love and Gratitude Through Flowers

Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul. – Luther Burbank

Can you imagine life without flowers? With their ability to make people smile, love and feel loved, we have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to these Mother Nature’s gifts. Speaking of being thankful, flowers are the universal gift when we want to express our gratitude to someone.

Do you want to thank your mom for her tireless efforts of being a mom? Say it with flowers.

Do you want to thank your grandmother for always spoiling you and always being on your side? Say it with flowers.

Do you want to say thank you to a special someone and express your love in the process? Say it with flowers.

There are a lot of expressions and emotions that you can say with flowers. Thanks to The Florist, you can say a LOT of great things with flowers.

About The Florist

Owned by Camil Bautista, one can sense the passion that runs The Florist. That was my first impression when I talked to Camil. We talked about flowers for a couple of hours. Who knew that you can talk about just flowers for a couple of hours?

I learned a lot from Camil herself since she’s very knowledgeable when it comes to flowers. I’ve never met someone as knowledgeable as her. On that note, I’ve never met someone as passionate as her when it comes to flowers. She genuinely loves flowers.

It helps that she’s been in this business for a long time. She’s actually one of the first florists in Lipa City when she set up shop in the year 2000. Fast forward to today and she’s still doing what she loves doing – something she’s very good at – and that’s arranging flowers. She also leveled up, as she’s about to get a diploma from a floral school.

About the Flowers

I visited The Florist to see for myself why it’s considered as one of the best flower shops in Lipa City. I haven’t seen so many beautiful flowers – most of which I’m seeing in a flower shop for the first time. Most flower shops carry the usual roses, mums, and the occasional tulips. Here at The Florist, well, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

In addition to carrying local flowers, they also carry imported roses, tulips, sunflowers, protea, hydrangea, snap dragon, calla lilies and more. In fact if you have a favorite flower that you can’t find anywhere, just tell them and they can help source it for you.

These flowers are beautiful by themselves. It helps that they’re fresh. They don’t use flowers that are not that fresh anymore.

Can you imagine how they’ll look like when arranged? Fortunately, The Florist is one of the best in the business when it comes to arranging flowers. See for yourself.

I personally haven’t seen arrangements like these. This is because they specialize in customized arrangements. They actually prefer to arrange flowers in a way that they haven’t arranged flowers before. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small or big arrangement. It’s going to be unique and beautiful.

No wonder they’re also very popular for weddings. They can make your wedding bouquet one of a kind.

You can even add gifts like sneakers, chocolates, wines and more. It’s a good way to personalize your arrangement based on the recipient.

They also have some of the nicest wrappers. While most Lipa City flower shops will just ask you for what color of wrapper you want, you’ll have a lot of designs to choose from here at The Florist.

Oh, and you can have flowers preserved. I personally think it’s a good way to profess your undying love to someone.
