Lucky Five Aces Store: Your Trusted Brand for Linoleum, Mantels, Tarps, Tents and More

For many homeowners in Lipa City, they head straight to one place at the Lipa City Public Market for their linoleum needs – Lucky Five Aces Store. They’ve been in the business since 1998 and through the years, have made a name for themselves as the source of high quality linoleum that feature the latest designs. Of course, it also helps a lot that they have linoleum for every budget.

The shop is founded by Mam Linda Atienza and is managed by her son, Ian Atienza. They occupy multiple stalls at the Lipa City Public Market because of their wide variety of offerings.

Thanks to the support of their customers, both old and new, they were able to expand their offerings. Now, they’re also known for their mantels, tarps, tents, and more.

About their Products at the Shop

The last time I bought linoleum for our house was 2013 at a different store. I remember settling for an okay design because of the lack of choices. This is why I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the stocks of Lucky Five Aces Store. My wife, who’s in the market for a new linoleum, quickly went to work (meaning browsed through the available designs) when we arrived at their shop.

We loved how there are several rows of linoleum to choose from. You can simply tell Ian what your budget is and he’ll direct you towards the available choices at that price range. Priced at PHP 1,700 to PHP 4,500 per roll, you can find a design that fits your budget.

The one we bought is priced at an affordable PHP 2,400 per roll. It’s one of the latest designs they have at the store. The design and quality are so good that you’ll mistake it for vinyl tiles. A lot of their linoleum are of the American Vinyl brand so you can be sure that they’re high in quality.

Here are the available designs to choose from.

You can also check out this link for a closer look at some of their best-selling linoleum. It’s best that you visit their shop to look around so you can feel the different textures and thicknesses.

They also have tarps.

The blue sheet starts at PHP 35 per yard while the higher quality tarps are priced from PHP 140 to PHP 350 per yard.

Make sure to get one for the rainy days. Check out this simple pulley-type system.

They’re also a trusted name for their mantels.

Protect your tables with these mantels.

These mantels are priced at PHP 30 per yard. You can also buy a ready-made one for only PHP 100. They have a lot of nice designs, both old-fashioned and new. I love how they have a mantel that comes covered with plastic already. This way, you don’t have to cover the mantel with plastic anymore.

They also have curtains!

Time to Invest in a Retractable Tent

Now that All Souls’ Day is coming, it’s time to invest on a retractable tent. It’s time to pay our deceased loved ones a visit, and spend some quality time together with the rest of your family as you pay your respects. You don’t have to do it under the heat of the sun or the brutal rain. Invest in a retractable tent that you can bring to the cemetery.

Their retractable tents are made by American Matic. They come in varying dimensions (2 by 2, 2 by 3, 3 by 3, 3 by 4.5 and 3 by 6 all in meters) so choose one depending on your needs.

It’s a good investment because it’s something that you can also use at home. We got a 3 by 6 meter one and it’s installed in front of our house.

Here it is in action against the rain.

It serves as a garage.

Our Innova fits with a lot of room to spare.

It also serves as a place where we can eat as a family for those “kain tayo sa labas” moments.

American Matic Retractable Tent

Yes, their retractable tents are made by American Matic!

It also serves as a workspace for when there’s a brownout, or just when you feel like breathing the fresh air. We also have a party planned and this is going to be perfect!

Their retractable tents are available in 2 different tube variants – standard and heavy duty. They also have camping tents available.

The best thing about this is it’s retractable. It comes in a surprisingly small box. Think of a box of a big Christmas tree. It can be installed by 2 to 5 people depending on the size. But really, installation is nothing but retracting it apart…

placing the cover…

and adjusting the height (4 available heights). Mine was installed in about 5 to 10 minutes.
