Lipa City – SM Lipa’s much awaited 3-day sale is about to happen on March 31, April 1 and April 2.  Here are some useful shopping tips to make your shopping experience more fun and enjoyable.

  1. Take note of the changes in schedule for the SM Advantage Card (SMAC) Sale.

In previous years, the SMAC sale is done on the first day of sale. Today it is now on Saturday, April 1 from 9:00AM to 12:00 noon. SM Prestige cardholders on the other hand are given the whole day of Friday to avail of the  additional 10% discount shopping.  The SMAC sale is a privilege sale given to all SM Advantage, Prestige and BDO Rewards card holders where additional 10% off will be given to the total shopping amount at The SM Store, Ace Hardware, Uniqlo, Crocs, Body Shop, Adidas and Surplus Shop. Queuing can be tough at this time, so it is best that you already know what to shop for or better yet, reserve your items the day before the sale.   Fitting of clothes and shoes, including finding the right shade of make-up takes time, so better do these things the day before the SMAC sale.  Just approach any store personnel so that they may reserve your items. All you have to do is check out in the counter the next day.

  1. Join in the raffle promos.

Remember that BIR tagline “May pera sa resibo”? At SM Lipa, your receipts can be used as raffle qualifiers where every 1000 pesos worth of single or accumulated purchase in any store or restaurant at SM Lipa will be equivalent to a raffle stub.  Who knows, you might be the next winner of one of two Suzuki Raider R150.

Another raffle will happen inside The SM Store. There will be 12 units of Samsung gadget package that is to be given away. The package includes Samsung Gear S3 and Samsung J3. To join, simply present your receipt with a minimum single purchase of 3000 pesos at the redemption booth located at the ground floor of The SM Store.

  1. Be SM Lipa’s biggest spender. (April 1 and April 2)

Feeling generous? Or do you have a house to fill with new furniture and appliances?

The 3-day sale is the just the best time to do these shopping essentials as SM Lipa is going to give away units of Vivo V3 phones to its first five biggest spenders in the afternoon (12 noon to 6PM) on April 1 and April 2.

  1. Shop and be in the center of the confetti blast. (April 1)

Join in the festive blast of confetti on April 1 at 2:00PM and 4:00PM at the Events Center of SM Lipa.  The confetti contains 100 pcs of winning vouchers which, together with at least 1000-peso proof of purchase can be exchanged with special gift certificates from participating mall stores.

  1. Shop and tag the roving doll mascot. ( April 2)

Get your kids to enjoy the 3-day sale shopping as they try to find and tag the roving doll mascot in the mall. The first 100 shoppers to tag the mascot along with a 1000-peso proof of purchase can get gift certificates from participating wellness centers at SM City Lipa. The mascot is expected to go around the mall at 2pm and 4pm on April 2.

  1. Take note of the mall hours.

March 31, Friday the mall opens at 10:00am and closes at 10:00PM.  April 1, Saturday, the mall opens at 9:00am to give way to the three hour SMAC Sale.  April 2, Sunday, the mall opens at 10:00AM.

     7. Bring your re-usable shopping bags. 

While the different stores and shops in the mall would provide paper bags for your items.  It is best that you bring your own.  Bring something sturdy (and big too). This is also one way in which we can help out reduce solid waste.

  1. Take advantage of the 699-peso shopping trolley with foldable seat at The SM Store

For every two thousand worth of purchase from the SM Store a shopper is entitled to avail of the shopping trolley with foldable seats for only 699 pesos.

  1. Use BDO credit cards at The SM Store

A rebate of 10% is given to those BDO credit card holders who have a total minimum single purchase of at least 25,000.  Five percent rebate on the other hand is given to those who have single purchase of not less than 5000 pesos.  If you would be using a debit card, a 3% rebate will be given for a single minimum purchase of 3000 pesos.
