Press release – In preparation for the National Grand Parents Day Celebration this coming September 10, SM City Lipa and SM City Batangas prepared a series of activities to delight our lolos and lolas. SM Lipa for instance has started its “Grand Fair with Lolo and Lola 2017” – a six-day bazaar featuring the products and services offered by the small businesses of some members of the Federation of Senior Citizens Association in Lipa City (LICFOSCA).
Among the participants are Lola Emily with her Special Peanut, Lola Estrealla and Lola Teng’s Kakanin, Lola Elenita’s Special Embotido, Lolo Rodolfo’s massage and honeybee products, Lola Nita’s Cassava, Lola Lolita’s Instant Salabat, Lolo Samuel’s Quantum products and Lola Margarita’s Cheese Stick and Kakanin.
A singing and dance contest will also be held on Saturday, August 9, which will be participated by the five districts of LICFOSCA. SM Batangas on the other hand will be having an art event and live entertainment for the lolos and lolas on August 10.

Grandparents Day celebration is a commitment of SM through its SM Cares program to advocate respect that each individual must have to our elderlies. It also aims to give entertainment particularly to the elderly patrons of its malls.
