Ribs for Everyone
I’ve tried CHIBS several times before and I always go for the ribs. I sometimes go for the Beef Ribs Slab.
This is a carnivore’s dream come true. It’s meaty and tender, with the glaze providing a tangy flavor.
I alternate that with the Baby Back Ribs.
It’s fall off the bones tender. Have fun with it as you lick your hands after every bite.
The Fun Chicken Gets an Upgrade
On the other hand, the everyday chicken gets an elegant upgrade. My wife always goes for the Quarter Chicken.
It’s deep fried before being bathed in delicious glaze. It’s crunchy and at the same time sticky. Oh, and it’s huge! Go get the Chicken Platter if you’re in a group.
Try these Appetizers
They also serve Buffalo Wings.
This is a good appetizer to share.
Speaking of appetizers, be careful not to eat too much of the Camote Fries.
It’s so filling!
I was surprised to see that they have Crispy Pork Rebusado.
If you’ve seen me at a fiestahan, you know that I’d munch on this by the plateful. It’s better than any rebusado that you’ve had. It’s so good!
They also have Crispy Kangkong!
What a good way to enjoy your greens!
They also serve Nachos.
You’d be mindlessly munching on this while waiting for the main dishes.
You should also try the Sisig.
It’s the type of sisig that you can enjoy with rice.
Other Main Dishes at CHIBS
They have silog dishes! The bangus lover in me rejoiced at the sight of Bangsilog!
I love how meaty this is.
We also tried the Spamsilog.

We were surprised to see that they also serve Pork Sinigang.
Our surprise turned to happiness as soon as we took a sip. The thick pieces of pork and crisp veggies are just bonuses to its wonderful broth.
You should also try the Pork Barbecue.
Yes, there are 3 pieces to every rice meal. It’s so good that you’ll be happy that there are more than 2. If you want more, get the BBQ platter.
They also serve Beef Salpicao.
The beef is fork-tender. I love the touch of the slightly-burnt garlic bits.
For dessert, I encourage you to get the Funnel Cake.
This popular fair food can now be enjoyed in Lipa! Believe me. You should always order this to end your meal. It’s so good that you can eat at CHIBS just for this!
Complement that with a glass of Coffee Jelly.
