I love milk tea. Most of us do. I can drink it every day. I’m sure I’m not alone. There’s a reason why there’s a milk tea shop in every corner of our city.

Lipa City loves milk tea.

Let’s face it, though. A lot of these milk tea shops, while they serve amazing drinks, basically serve the same variations.

This is where Yo Milktea, Chicken, & Slushie comes in.

About Yo Milktea, Chicken, & Slushie

Yo Milktea, Chicken, & Slushie is a brand new shop that serves, well, milk tea, chicken and slushies. It just launched its line of dozens of milk teas and slushies and we were there to try 20 of them.

Yes, we tried 20 of them, and believe me when I tell you that there were others that we didn’t have the pleasure of trying. Actually, the first batch of 5 drinks was enough to tell me that this isn’t your normal milk tea shop.

For starters, they claim to have the world’s smallest boba – the caviar boba! Check out those small sinkers!

It’s located at the Dayton Food Park along Ayala Highway in Lipa City. It’s in the same building as the insanely popular Burger Mania.

It’s actually a Korean restaurant and one look at their menu board will tell you that. We’re going to focus on their drinks for the purpose of this feature because their drinks deserve all of your focus right now.

I also love how the place is IG-worthy. The almost-millennial in me couldn’t resist a few selfies.

I fell in love with the very first drink that I tried – the Kokobop.

It’s an amazing concoction of vanilla milk tea, chocolate fudge, and chocolate pudding!

The Brown Sugar Seoul Milk is the bomb. It comes in this cool container that they’ll can in front of you.

You can really taste the caramel-y flavor in this one. You can really feel the calories building up in your body, but you won’t really care because it’s so good.

For the slushies, I loved the Yakult.

It’s surprisingly a bit sour at first sip but then you get used to it and you won’t be able to stop sipping.

They also have fruit teas! I loved the Sunset Glow Fruit Tea.

It has real passion fruit along with other tropical fruits! It even has aloe vera which proved to be very refreshing!

The Watermelon Milk was a hit for Gwen Villapando.

It’s sweet that’s made sweeter and more refreshing by the watermelon. It also has caviar boba and black jelly!

Rachel Dimaculangan loved the first visit so much that she went back a couple of days after we featured it to get her favorite – the Royal Bubble Tea.

As for me, I loved the Chocolate Colada.

It’s choco coconut cream shake with purple rice! What’s purple rice? I think it’s a gift from the heavens to the milk tea loving crowd. If it’s your first time here, I strongly recommend that you try this one.

Here are the other drinks that we tried:
