“I take a massage each week. This isn’t an indulgence. It’s an investment in your full creative expression/productivity/passion and sustained good health.” – Robin S. Sharma

Gone are the days when massages are a luxury. Nowadays, more and more people are becoming more like Robin S. Sharma. They realize that massages are not an indulgence. They’re a necessity. It’s an investment that you make for good health.

If you choose a good spa like Yashita Home Spa Wellness Center, it’s not going to be an expensive investment. At this spa, you can afford to take a massage at least once a week. If only it can, your body will give you a huge hug for it.

About Yashita Spa

Yashita Spa is a fast-growing chain of spas with branches at Sta. Rosa, San Pablo, Muntinlupa, Calamba, Biñan, Angeles, Batangas and of course, Lipa. This is an impressive feat considering that they started as a simple home service spa in Sta. Rosa. They opened their Lipa City branch last March 8, and they’re making a name for themselves for providing relaxing spa packages at affordable prices.

They’re in a good location. They’re located at the 2nd floor of INK Building along Gen. Luna St. at Brgy. Sabang, Lipa City. There’s plenty of parking.

This reception area will welcome you. Feel free to take in the Japanese-with-a-bit-of-classy-Filipino vibe going on.

Here, you can ask questions about their different services. Make sure to ask about their packages to save money and experience more relaxation.

About their Staff

The Yashita Spa has trained staff. In addition, they have DOH-certified therapists. We loved how professional they were. In addition to being very knowledgeable in their craft, they displayed great customer service skills as well.

They’re led by owner Sam Bachoco.

In our short talk with Sam, we sensed his passion for health and wellness through his chain of spas. He has great things in mind for his spa. After trying it out, we’re firm believers that he’ll be able to achieve these things.

Mrs. Hello Lipa enjoying her foot soak.

My wife skipped the traditional sauna bath. I was looking to flush out some toxins so took advantage of it. I had the sauna to myself which was perfect. I needed to relax while I sweat the stresses away.

The sauna room is fairly big. I think it can fit 5 to 8 people. How about a group sauna date with your friends?

I already felt so relaxed after about 20 minutes in the sauna that I could have went home right then and there and still consider it a worthwhile trip. But I couldn’t pass up on the promise of a more relaxing time with an hour of full body massage.

The moment when my therapist, Che, started expertly massaging my back, I knew that I was in for a treat. She knew the perfect amount of pressure to exert. She knew the places that needed extra attention, with my back full of knotted muscles.

You know the feeling of not knowing whether time is going fast or slow? I had that feeling. Time seemingly slowed down as I savored every massage stroke. But before I knew it, the hour was up, and I was recharged.

My wife commented that I looked like I just woke up. I didn’t really sleep because I wanted to feel every bit of the massage, but I felt as if I just woke up from an 8 hour sleep. I was recharged. But come nighttime, I slept like a log. I guess their massage recharges you when needed, and then relaxes you when it’s time to sleep.

I asked my wife for feedback and she had great things to say about her therapist, Alexa. My wife’s knotted muscles were un-knotted, and she wasn’t bruised at all even if she’s easily bruised during massages. Thanks to Alexa’s firm but soft touches!

Make sure to ask for their rejuvenating ginger tea!

Since their therapists underwent the same training, it’s safe to say that all therapists are as good as Che and Alexa. Feel free to try any of them to find your favorite!
