Quite a few frowns were seen when news that Casa Marikit was closing down temporarily for renovations. The renovations took quite a long time to the point that some people, including myself, accepted the possibility that it may never come back.
My frown turned upside down when it came back last year and I finally had the chance to try it!

About Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano
Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano is an authentic Italian restaurant in Lipa City. Yes, there is a high-end Italian restaurant in Lipa City, and it offers one of the best Italian cuisine experiences this part of the country.
It’s the lovechild and the very first project of the husband and wife team of TJ and Michelle Fabie. Named after their daughter, Marikit, it’s a family-friendly restaurant thanks to its casual dining setting.
Casa Marikit has always been our go-to place in the city whenever there’s a special occasion. We’ve celebrated Valentine’s Day, birthdays, Mother’s Day and more here, and we’ve always had an amazing experience.
The New Casa Marikit
The new Casa Marikit is bigger, better and more romantic than before.
It’s also good to know that the quality of food has been maintained. It’s as good as I remember!
We visited on a double date with our brand ambassadors Kenneth and Gian. Of course, Baby Hello Lipa wouldn’t be left behind! She loves pizza so this is an experience she wouldn’t pass up on.
I also have to commend the staff for the amazing service. Their service puts a bit of 5-star feel to the casual dining experience.
My Old and New Favorites at Casa Marikit
I have a new favorite appetizer – the Bruschetta Mista.
One bite and you’ll know that you’re in for a culinary treat. I’d pay a main dish price for this appetizer.
I’ve always been a fan of their steak.
Order it medium rare for a divine experience. I was taking big bites and it was like butter.
For the pasta, my favorite is the Fettuccine Alla Carbonara.
Its creaminess is divine, with the pancetta providing the right amount of saltiness.
You can’t go wrong with the Salmone Affumicato or the Rustica for your pizza.
Get both if you can.
Make sure to get the Panna Cotta AND the Tiramisu for dessert. Don’t choose!
