Saying that there are a lot of milk tea shops in Lipa City will be in the running for understatement of the year. There are milk tea shops left and right, as they answer the exploding demand for these delectable drinks.

Some of us have our own favorite, while some of us go on a milk tea shop crawl. I belong to the latter as I aim to try each and every milk tea shop in the city so I can continue to surprise my taste buds with something new.

Every now and then, I encounter a milk tea shop that surprises me in a good way. This week, it’s Nham Cha Thai Milk Tea.

About Nham Cha Thai Milk Tea

As the name implies, it offers Thai milk tea. While most shops offer Taiwanese milk tea, Nham Cha offers the Thai variety. I’ve tried and enjoyed Thai milk tea before so of course I was excited to try it.

I also love the place. It’s very conducive for chilling especially since they have some games for the gang to play.

It’s a relatively new name in the industry but I have seen a few branches in my trips to Manila. This branch in Lipa City is the very first in Batangas and I’m assuming that it won’t be the last. It’s that good.

Thai milk tea is red-orange in color as opposed to the beige color of the beloved Taiwanese milk tea. Try it to surprise your taste buds. You’ll try it again because you’ll enjoy it.

The Offerings of Nham Cha Thai Milk Tea Lipa

They’re offering 12 different varieties right now. Our team tried all of them and each one of us has our own favorite.

That’s the beauty about their offerings. They have something for everybody to enjoy. Yes, even the non-milk tea lovers.

Here are their offerings.

If you can’t decide which one to go for, go for the Nham Cha Overload.

It has white chocolate, Oreo, black and gold pearls, vanilla softy and macchiato cream. You’d have to wonder how they were able to cram these all in. Each ingredient complements one another, leading to a mind-blowing experience with every sip.

Here are my other favorites.

The Bangkok Pearl Milk Tea is the bomb with its black and gold pearl and marble syrup.

It has Nutella, walnuts and vanilla softy.

I also loved the Thai Taro.

It reminds me of Quickly taro which I enjoyed almost every day when I was still staying in Manila.

If you’re a coffee lover, try the Thai Kopi.
