It’s an organization of well-respected individuals, businessmen and professional leaders who share the same passion of providing humanitarian services while promoting peace and goodwill across the world.

There are now 35,000 clubs with 1.2 million members all over the world, one of which is the Rotary Club of Mataasnakahoy. Last August 8, the club held its induction ceremonies to induct its new Champion President – the young visionary Jabin Jumarang.

Chartered on February 17, 1997, the Rotary Club of Mataasnakahoy has been an integral part of the Rotary Club’s goal of connecting the world. The vibrant Champion President Jabin Jumarang will lead the way with his new and fresh ideas guided by the seniority and guidance of the more seasoned members and officers starting with his mom, former Champion President Marites Bulanadi Jumarang.

Together with the Rotary Club as a whole, the Rotary Club of Mataasnakahoy’s priority is the eradication of polio. They also help fight bigger problems like HIV/AIDS, malaria, and the likes.

They’re also very active in the community. Recognizing that service connects people, they spearhead projects like the awarding of an overhead water tank and two handwashing facilities to the Mataasnakahoy Central Elementary School and donation of chairs to kindergarten students of the Calingatan Elementary School.

Induction Ceremony

The club held an impressive induction ceremony attended by its members and members of other clubs. It was a fun night of networking, celebration, and good food and drinks.
