If you’ve been a fan of Gabz Café and Lounge, then you know that they serve good food. We’ve been fans of Gabz for quite some time now and we regularly include it among our recommended restaurants to try.
It’s not just that they serve good food. They serve quality food at affordable prices that you’d wonder if they’re running a business or a charity. Well, we’re not about to complain especially considering the fact that its main market is the students of De La Salle Lipa just across the road.
Saying Goodbye to a Favorite
We’re fans of its unli-ihaw concept at the back of its coffee shop. You pay less than PHP 200 and you can enjoy unlimited inihaw fares. This is why we were sad when they said that they’re closing it, but the sadness turned to excitement when they explained why they’re doing so.
Introducing the New Gabz Café and Lounge
According to the owners, their coffee shop has always been the preferred area of most of their customers. They were able to establish a market among students and young professionals looking for a place where they can enjoy a satisfying meal in a comfortable ambience while enjoying their fast wifi.
Now, they can enjoy more.
I was torn between being a spoiler and not being a spoiler. I was thinking that their new lounge is better experienced than read. But I can’t help but be excited to share the details.
First of all, the coffee shop at the front area is now made bigger. They expanded their second floor to accommodate about 15 more people. That alone is great news.
Open the door to the back and that’s when the fun starts.
Yes, they now offer fun activities like billiards, pool, air hockey, darts, chess and basketball shootout!
The basketball shootout was very popular among our team. I had to wait to be able to use it!
Speaking of darts, it can lead to a hugot moment.
More importantly, they now have a videoke lounge!
They set aside a space where their customers can sing their heart out. Watch the video at the end of this feature to check it out!
It’s also very affordable! It’s only PHP 500 for 1 to 5 customers for the first hour. If you’re more than 5 in the group, you just have to pay PHP 100 per person. It’s then PHP 350 per hour after that. Best of all, the rate is consumable so you’re basically using it for free!
One Thing Remains
We’re happy to report that one thing remains – they still offer good and affordable food. There are the old favorites along with some new ones.
That’s one of the best things about Gabz. They offer new dishes regularly so every visit is always a pleasant surprise!
