The Philippine Dental Association just kicked-off a month-long celebration of the 14th National Dental Health Month happening from February 1 to 28, 2018.
The Philippine Dental Association (PDA), as headed by National President and proud Lipeño Dr. Mark I. Villalobos, has events and programs lined up for the whole month.
Following this year’s theme, “Ngiping Inaruga Mula Pagkabata, Malusog na Ngiti Baon sa Pagtanda,” will also launch an Oral Health Awareness Campaign that will be culminated by an outreach program here in Lipa City. More details to follow.
Last Friday, the Lipa City Dental Chapter of the PDA met in preparation for the national kick-off. The day started with a mass at the San Sebastian Cathedral and was soon followed by a motorcade around the city.
Afterwards, a billboard was unveiled at the MIV Building along Ayala Highway.
The billboard showcases the PDA’s Oral Health Awareness Campaign that includes a campaign against illegal dental practitioners.
You can check out this video provided by the Lipa City Dental Chapter to see what happened at the event.
Our city was also well-represented at the national kick-off last Sunday, January 28, at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
LET’S SMILE, PHILIPPINES!
