“Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.” ― Ernestine Ulmer
Here at Kree-mee Lipa Premium Shakes, their Premium Craft Shakes are their main courses, and no one in their right mind will complain. It’s the ice cream blended shakes that make people try Kree-mee out, and it’s the same shakes that make them come back over and over again.
We should know. On a cold Lipa City night, we decided to go against logic and try their premium shakes. We wanted to wait until the weather is warmer, but come on. You’ve seen pictures of their shakes on social media. You understand why we couldn’t wait anymore.
And we’re happy that we did.
About Kree-mee Lipa Premium Shakes
Kree-mee is located at the Dayton Food Park along Ayala Highway in Lipa City. You’re not going to miss it. It’s the first shop on your right after going up the steps.
Just as the name implies, Kree-mee specializes on premium shakes. Owned by the husband and wife team of Heinz Kriti and Margarette Mary Hernandez and fueled by their genuine love for chocolates, ice cream and anything sweet, they came up with the idea of serving ice cream blended shakes.
These are not the blended shakes that your mom used to make on the kitchen counter. These shakes are what one would dream of after taking a trip with Charlie to the Chocolate Factory.
Thanks to Kree-mee, these shakes are not just dreams. They’re reality…a wonderful reality.
Digging in on their Premium Shakes
The Hello Lipa team tried 4 premium shakes in total. Please don’t judge us.
Generally speaking, I love how their shakes are put together. I’ve seen some places that serve similar shakes that are not really put well together. They just add things without considering how the final product will look like and taste.
Here at Kreemee Lipa Premium Shakes, you won’t just get shakes and frappes; you’ll get masterpieces. You can hang them on your bedroom wall.
First up is the Extreme Chocolate. There’s no false advertisement here. This is an extreme chocolate shake.
I like how the chocolate parts of the shake are complemented with the mallows, waffle and wafer sticks. I mean, we all like chocolates and all but it would be pretty overwhelming to eat an all-chocolate shake. Again as I’ve said, it’s well put together.
Next up is the Boosted Branded Vanilla Freeze Hershey’s Brand.
The vanilla shake is complemented well by the caramel drizzle and Hershey’s chocolate bar. The cookies and cream cupcake provided a nice touch.
We also tried the Caramel Macchiato.
Coffee lovers (present!) are familiar with this concoction. This is the perfect blend if you like sweets, but don’t like it too sweet. The addition of the cookie and the fudge bar is perfect since they go well with the taste of coffee.
My wife is fan of the Twix candy bar and when they found out about this, out comes the Boosted Branded Vanilla Freeze Twix.
Makes you want to use that Twix bar as a spoon, right?
I’ve been talking about their Boosted Branded varieties. Basically, you can choose from these chocolates to boost your shake. Your choice will be blended with the shake and will serve as additional toppings.
Simple enough, which makes you wonder why not everyone is doing it. It’s a good way to personalize your shake.
Just in case you’re not a fan of overload toppings, you can go for their classic shakes. The same base will be used and a scoop of ice cream will be used as a topping.
As a side note, a member of our team overheard one of the owners telling one of their crew members not to serve a shake because it’s not up to par. These guys are pretty proud of their masterpieces and don’t like to serve things that they can’t be proud of. I hope they keep this up.
Their Other Offerings
Most people go here for dessert, but we found out that you can enjoy a full meal here. We tried a couple of their appetizers. There’s the Potato Cones Garlic Butter Fries which became an instant hit among the team.
It has garlic, butter and fries. How can you go wrong with that?
We were also served with mojos. It’s pretty good. It’s crunchy on the outside and mushy on the inside.
We also tried a couple of their Grilled Cheese sandwiches. There’s the Imperial Ham.
It’s stick-on-the-roof-of-your-tongue good!
We also tried the Chicken Fillet Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
We liked how the chicken was seasoned. This is a very filling sandwich.
We were already full at this point but can’t say no to Four Cheese Pasta.
The pasta is not on the sweet side which I think is perfect for a Four Cheese Pasta.
It’s something that you should try with your loved ones, friends and families. This is already one of the most popular places at the Dayton Food Park thanks in part to their Instagram-worthy premium craft shakes. Stop here after a meal for dessert, or just head straight here and eat a full meal or just have a shake for your meal. At this point, logic dictates that. Kree-mee #icecreamblendedshakes are life.
