It’s a classic done right. They use crispy pork cheeks and chopped red onions. Served on a sizzling plate tableside style, it’s a feast for your senses.
Now I know why it was awarded as People’s Choice Best Sisig of the year by Wofex, Our Awesome Planet, and KTG Blogger collective last August 2018.
Amazing Appetizers and Pulutans
A night out with friends won’t be complete without nachos and the Macho Sisig Nachos of Dencio’s is a must-try.
Popular as a pulutan, it can also be enjoyed as an appetizer.
The Hot and Spicy Tofulutan is obviously a pulutan.
But it’s pretty good as an appetizer as well! You can also enjoy it with rice.
The Krispy Embutidong Hipon is supposed to be an appetizer or pulutan but it’s pretty amazing with rice.
The contrast in texture is amazing, as is the taste.
Fantastic Fried Dishes
What’s a meal without Crispy Pata?
It’s a good complementary dish to the sisig.
They also have the Dencio’s Fried Chicken.
It’s a good thing that this tastes great because they have their name attached to it. It’s a simple dish cooked to perfection.
If you’re looking for something a bit healthier to pair with the sisig, get the Krispy Tilapia.
It’s so good that you might order another one, though!
Gorgeous Grilled Dishes
Dencio’s Lipa is not just about the sizzling and fried dishes. They also have a nice lineup of grilled dishes like the Boneless Chicken Inasal.
This is grilled to gorgeous perfection. I love how there are grill marks but it’s not dried out. It’s still juicy but feel free to add chicken oil.
Order the Sari-saring Sinugba.
It’s the best way to enjoy their grilled favorites. My fave is the grilled pusit.
Other Delectable Dishes
You should order the Pinaputok na Pancit.
I don’t care if you’re there for lunch, merienda, dinner or for drinks. Order this pancit with a surprising twist in the form of a secret ingredient.
They also serve good Bulalo.
The beef is tender and the broth is divine.
They also perfected the Kare-kare.
If there’s something that can help cut through the sinful fried and sizzling dishes, it’s the Sinigang na Hipon.
Oh, and get the Chopsuey for the #healthyliving hashtag.
For dessert, get the Turon de Sorbetes.
