1. Can you please introduce yourself to our followers?
Good day my beloved Lipeños! I am Eryza Faithe A. Alvaro from Baranggay Tibig Lipa City. A simple and cheerful young lady that is a candidate for Miss Lipa Tourism 2020. It’s nice to virtually meet you! This blog is ONE OF MY JOURNEYS TO THIS PAGEANT. I am aware that most of us are really really bored at this time, but maybe reading this might lessen your boredom. So, let’s go, keep on reading to know more about me!
2. Can you describe your usual day?
My usual day as a student and as a common individual is really different but both are blessed and productive. As a student, I usually wake up around 4:30 but when I have a quiz or exam I wake up around 2:00 am in the morning to read some notes for that specific subject. (tip: it is really effective to study in early morning!). Then, I prepare our breakfast and then prepare for the school. While on the other hand, as a common individual, I wake up around 6:30 or 7 am. Then I am going to do the household chores. After that, I am going inside my room to dance or to read some stories from Wattpad! And the most exciting part of my usual day is the night time because it is the time when my mom and I are able to have some chitchats that makes my mood so good.

Motivation
Modern Lipena is known for being barako. Not because they are into fights but because of they can speak up for where they stand especially when it is the truth. They always see the positive things in life even though they are facing their difficult times. They are unique because they can stand out while embracing their flaws. Converting their weaknesses and threats into their strengths and opportunities make them resilient. Even THEY ARE Modern Lipeñas, they are still illustrious. It is given that they are well-known because of their city; Lipa City. They are well known because of their beauty and manners. They are all respected because they are aware in every action they make. And lastly, they are motivation, each Lipeña is a motivation to everyone. They don’t believe in competition that is made by the society. They keep on inspiring each other to become a better woman.
4. What’s your favorite Lipeño food?
My favorite Lipeño food is the black guisado. It is not typical pancit, because from its word it is black it is being toasted. Every time I eat that, it makes my heart and tummy so happy. It is not yet that popular but it is a must. I highly recommend it in every tourist who is visiting our city. (FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TRY IT, you can find it at the back of MS)
5. What made you decide to join Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
I did join this pageant because I want to be the representative. I want to be one of those representatives to show Lipa is not just Lipa, it is the Lipa City. I want to show them the diversification of beauty within us. For every tourist who visited our city, I know they saw it as a beautiful one. But for me, I want to discover the smallest things in our culture especially those cultures which are not popular. And I’ll help them to spread it and be added to our current culture because I know it can increase the current beauty of our culture.
6. Why do you think you should win Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
I should be the Miss Lipa Tourism 2020 because I possess all the qualities of being one. I am a Lipeña with a soul. Soul that stands for the heart and mind disregarding the physical appearance. I have the heart that can feel the happiness, pain and sorrow of every Lipeño. And I have the mind to think and to have actions to those pains or difficulties they are facing. I would be able to spread the soul within me. I know I can effectively inspire them.
7. How do you plan on helping your fellow Lipeños as a candidate of Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
I ACTUALLY PLAN TO HELP MY FELLOWS LIPEÑOS BY GUIDING THEM. IT’S EITHER ADVICE OR THE PROGRAMS I WANT TO IMPLEMENT WHEN I WIN THE TITLE MISS LIPA TOURISM 2020. As a student I can’t help them financially but I can help them to strengthen their soul through my advices and sharing some of my experiences in life. But if I am able to win the title, I will help them by the programs I designed for them. Well, honestly, my priority is those teenagers who are products of a broken family.
8. What is your advocacy?
My advocacy is to help every teenager most especially those teenagers that are products of a broken family. It is undeniable that this type of family is increasing every year. Because of that some people lose their hope about everything. Some are lost in the right path of their lives. In this case, I want to inspire, to help and to show that they can be still successful. I want them to justify the traits if modern Lipeños which are the resilient, optimistic and illustrious.
9. What’s your message to your fellow Lipeños?
To my fellow Lipeños, first of all please keep safe by staying at home. I highly encourage everyone to keep themselves as well as their surroundings as clean as they can. Let us all pray because God will cure and protect us from this pandemic disease.
Lipeños, we are already lucky for having a beautiful and abundant city. Abundant in different resources and especially the culture. But please let us all be responsible. Let us all take good care of our beloved city by keeping and improving its beautiful culture.
10. Why do you deserve to be chosen as the Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress?
I should be the Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress because I know I can help them in their mission which is to know more about Lipa. I am also a Lipeño that is willing to interact with other people to know more about the. I have this quality that is being adventurous. This quality I think is the key quality that a Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress must possess. Lastly, I should be the Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress because I am an individual who is really interested and who really loves everything even the smallest thing about Lipa
11. Anything else you want to tell us?
