I’m a woman with a cheerful, optimistic and adventurous personality. I’m also a pet lover. I’m soft hearted person who easily shows of my tears (can be happy or sad moments). I might say that I’m a touch artist in some ways. I actually like to explore and learn new things. I’m seizing BS Tourism Management because I wanted to be a flight attendant someday. Other than travelling the globe, I wanted to be a FA because it gives a service which leads the passenger to a secure and calming flight. Other than being an active student, I’m also an active church person. I belong to a group called CERS, which stands for Community for Evangelizer and Reconciliation Service. This group helps me to build a stronger faith in God. Due to these, I see from different perspectives that I’ve got a purpose over what I believe I am. I also participated to our weekly bible study group within which I practice preaching. And I rather be the person who gives than the person who wants to receive because in a way I see myself over happy when helping.

2. Can you describe your usual day?

On my usual day, I go to school and attends my classes. I’m an active student that belongs to a choir group and an officer in our course department in school. I’m with my friends when it’s break time. I spent most of the time outside. Whenever I go out, I dress up base on my mood and sometimes it’s kinda weird, but I just don’t mind at all and it turns out to be unique and not weird at all. At night before going to sleep, I have a skincare which refreshes my face. On the weekends, I do house chores and every Sunday my family and I attend the mass. During my free time I enjoy watching animes, K-drama, makeup tutorials and DIY videos on YouTube.

3. Can you describe the modern Lipeña?

For me a modern Lipeña is someone who sees the importance of our culture and tradition as well as being able to cope up with the modern days. For example, the promotion of our local foods and places through social media. A modern Lipeña should also be knowledgeable about what is happening in the community which allows her to think critically about how to preserve while promoting Lipa’s culture and historical places and how to help the people in coping up with the different issues and crisis that are present. She is someone who is fearless and strong just like the kapeng barako, and someone who has a heart of gold and not biased when giving of help to the people. Lastly, she is someone who carries Lipa’s name with pride anywhere she goes.

4. What’s your favorite Lipeño food?

Lomi is my favorite Lipeño food. Though it is a heavy meal I enjoy the flavor it gives especially when I ate it during a cozy weather. Its flavor and topping adds up and diversify it from one lomi to another, from various canteen or eatery here in Lipa. Nonetheless, Lipa’s Lomi is the best and I am sure lucky enough to live here.

I’m joining MLT because I want to prove that young ladies like me aside from having a pretty face, I have a purpose in life. That purpose is to be an instrument of God that I could be a great help for others. There are people who motivated me and believed in me that I can join MLT despite of having no background in pageantry.  I do believe that  joining MLT is a bridge for me to grow as a person and as a professional someday.  I also want to be an influence to promote the Lipa City. For me MLT is my breakthrough for the things I’ve become and I’ll become someday. It plays a vital role for me as an aspiring beauty queen, which requires a lot of preparation and determination.

6. Why do you think you should win Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?

If I were to win the Miss Lipa Tourism 2020, I will embrace not only the crown but also the responsibilities behind it. I won’t make any promises, but rather show you some result. I will support different programs and projects that will lead to the preservation and improvement of Lipa City’s culture and tradition, environment, policy, tourism and citizen. With the voice, talent and opportunity given to me by God, win or lose I will make sure that it is effectively and efficiently used for a better and greater cost.

7. How do you plan on helping your fellow Lipeños as a candidate of Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?

As a candidate of MLT, I would like to take this opportunity to gladly serve my hometown. My plan is to use the social media in hearing out feedback and concerns of my fellow Lipeños and promote Lipa City tourism. Another way of helping them is to establish a consistent seminar and livelihood program for the people, especially those who is not employed and do not have a permanent job. Just like what my school has been doing, as a student we share our knowledge and help out our adopted barangay. One example is when we thought them how to make “bonete” and “kutsinta”. They are now making those to support their families.

8. What is your advocacy?

My advocacy is to spread awareness on suicide. We all know that many people, especially those young ones took their own lives because of anxiety and depression. I really wanted to help those people that think that they are not worthy, they are not strong, they are not appreciated, and they are not going to succeed. People are not only affected physically and financially with the issues and crisis we are facing but they are also damaging internally and emotionally. I wanted to show them that there is so much more in this life. That they have a purpose and God will always be there, because the development of the community lies on the localities or the people. These advocacies will lead to building a better family, community and nation, and a better world.

9. What’s your message to your fellow Lipeños?

To my fellow Lipeños we may face challenges and hardships this year and the past years, but I still can see hope which makes us stand tall and faith which gives us strength. I believe that we will ones again rise up and soar high after this pandemic. It is not just the place which makes Lipa City itself, but more than that, is the people who live in it. I still can see those smiles in the middle of darkness which symbolizes hope. In the meantime, let’s stay at home and be safe. I love you all!

I’ll be honored to be a Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress because it represents the Lipa. As you can see this is my very first pageant that I have joined. I was like a blank sheet that is for you to fill up. I am a new face. I am pretty sure that I don’t yet have a big audience, but I can assure you that I am a well dedicated person. Whatever I decided to do, I do it out of passion and I put my heart on it. I also do have some background on doing blogs when I was in high school, which is one of my assets if I will be chosen.

11. Anything else you want to tell us?

Shout-out for those Lipeños that continue to serve, donate, support, and pray for the greater good, especially those frontliners who’s risking their own lives for us. Thank you and may God guide us and bless us always.
