1. Can you please introduce yourself to our followers?
Hi! I’m She ann Pachica, an alumnus of De La Salle Lipa. I am currently working as a marketing staff in Ecommerce for Bench.
I am fond of finding myself time to work out to maintain my body, so if you’re into sports we’ll easily and surely get along.
I love going to places where I can learn, relax and enjoy. I am also part of different organizations which help our community during calamities and even the pandemic crisis that we are facing right now. I love helping and making my time meaningful. Here are just some things about me ? I’m excited to share more in my Miss Lipa Tourism journey. Please support us and stay safe. I know we are facing a serious problem right now. But, hey! We are all Barakos ?? We can do it.
2. Can you describe your usual day?
I want to start with “I’m very excited in everyday of my life”. Working in a huge company in fashion industry here in the Philippines is something I am thanking God every day. Waking up at 6:30 in the morning just to do a quick stretch in order to energize my body. Afterwards, I will prepare myself to go to work and never forgets to drink my kapeng barako. Fast forward to me as a working girl, organizing and facilitating photoshoots for our online market is one of the things I do. I am blessed to work with great models, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers and stylists. After work I feed my soul with a quick chat with my family and friends on how my day went. And before the day ends and as my favorite part of the day, I jog and workout to maintain my health and body.
3. Can you describe the modern Lipeña?
For me, a modern Lipeña is someone who knows how to have fun but won’t forget to be a dreamer rooted to core values with knowing their importance. Nowadays, women have a huge impact in our community and I want to use that to help and embody Lipa with the advocacy that I have. We, women, have changed a lot over the years. We now chase our own goals on our own pace but we’re still rooted to our core values not just as Lipeñas but as Filipinas. We know how to respect ourselves and everyone else, especially the elderly. We are feminine yet empowered and bold and I think those are important features to become a face who can represent the tourism industry in the city. That’s why I encourage all the women out there to be the best version of themselves and help our community in our continuous progress.
4. What’s your favorite Lipeño food?
LOMI ❤️ Our very own lomi is something that we should be proud of. It is cheap yet overflowing with taste and ingredients. Lomi is one of the reasons why I always go back in Batangas every weekend. You should also try the street food in Villa Lourdes, the one in front of Jollymae Food House, due to its mesmerizing taste. I enjoyed it a lot because of the rich taste of the sauce. It is the typical street food that you should eat. I am sure your taste buds will enjoy these foods. ?
5. What made you decide to join Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
Winning a pageant can open a lot of opportunities for me and it can also open doors for the things that I want to do. Having a crown is having a serious job that I’ve been eyeing since day 1. Having a crown can gain visibility, hearing your voice, giving inspiration to people and more chance to create and be involve to the programs that can help my community. Winning MLT 2020 will give me a chance embody Lipa and show the world our culture, great places, climate, delicious foods and most of all our welcoming community. I decided to join this pageant to win it and gain all the responsibilities of the crown. I want to take all its privileges to help more and to be one of the Miss Lipa Tourism who have purpose and someone who did her job well.
6. Why do you think you should win Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
Because I want the crown not just for myself. I want the crown because I can see it as a steppingstone to have a huge impact and contribute countless help in the continuous progress of my community. I don’t just think of becoming the next Miss Lipa Tourism 2020 because I’m working on it and I promise to work more to be deserving for the crown and its responsibilities.
7. How do you plan on helping your fellow Lipeños as a candidate of Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
As a candidate of Miss Lipa Tourism 2020 I want to start helping my fellow Lipeños by offering help with my profession. I am a proud product of De La Salle Lipa, graduated with the degree of Business Administration major in Marketing. I have a good background in marketing online since it is my job right now. I believe that Lipa have a lot to offer in our business investors and tourism, we just need to effectively promote Lipa and show everyone how beautiful and relaxing our place can be. A proper marketing plan can be a great help to expose the greatness of our place and we can start with the most effective platform right now which is online.
8. What is your advocacy?
My first advocacy is protecting and prioritising the health of our environment. One characteristic of Lipa that I love the most is that we have a good climate. We can only maintain this kind of climate if we will take our part in protecting the health of our nature. I want to open the eyes of everyone that helping in the conservation of nature can give us a lot of good effects like fresh air, clean water, biodiversity and many more. We should always remember a healthy environment is a healthy life.
Second, women empowerment. As I grow older, I saw how woman strongly evolve and fight for her rights. Gender equality and empowering all woman is something that we all should work hand and hand. Woman are the main source of every individuals nourishing power, we play a great part as one of the pillars in this community. Woman can offer more if we will work on breaking walls and defying stereotypes, we all can help a girl or woman if we start to trust her, let her own her body, let her choose her life, respect and treat her the way she should be treated. Woman is more, everyone just needs to let us have our opportunities and for sure we will show greatness in all ways.
9. What’s your message to your fellow Lipeños?
As we are experiencing this pandemic right now it made me realized a lot of things. I want to say to my fellow Lipeños and to all Batangueños that I am really proud in all of us. Experiencing calamity from Taal volcano and this pandemic showed how brave we are. I am touch how we experience downfall but still eager to help one another. Now I know that there is no problem we can’t face. God truly trust us and know that we can overcome everything.
10. Why do you deserve to be chosen as the Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress?
Being Hello Lipa brand ambassadress is not just about being a role model but more importantly it’s how you act, how you speak and be a shout for the whispers of the community. An ambassadress should have strong mind and a compassionate heart that can touch the people. Moreover, she should embody the traditional core values and modern attributes of an empowered Lipeña to have a holistic approach to be able to cater all the responsibilities she oath for. And I believe I am prepared to take on that responsibility.
