The Blue Sapphire Hotel is an institution here in Lipa City. It offers affordable accommodation and is a top choice of many looking for a place to stay. It’s in a good location and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. What more can you ask for?

You could be asking, how about the food? Well, you’d be happy to know that they serve good food at the Blue Sapphire Café.

About the Blue Sapphire Café

The Blue Sapphire Café is their café-restaurant located at the ground floor of the hotel. It’s newly-renovated just like their hotel. It looks nice. It has plenty of comfortable seating. It’s a place where you can have your meals while staying at the hotel.

Our team also found out that it’s also a place where you can enjoy an amazing meal even if you’re not booked at the hotel. We dropped by for lunch on our way to our company outing and we had an amazing time!

I love the new interiors. It’s spacious and has good lighting. I also love the accent pieces.

It’s very conducive for meetings. I saw around 3 meetings when we were there.

The first thing that you have to know about this café is it’s run by the same company that’s been in the events and catering industries for a long time now. In fact, our daughter celebrated her 7th birthday there.

Mam Bernardine Go with her son, Gelo Go of
JABG Construction Services who designed and built Blue Sapphire Cafe.

It’s managed by Mam Bernardine Go who got her culinary training at the International School for Culinary Art and Hotel Management. That’s also where I got my culinary training, so I know the high level of culinary training it offers to its students. Mam Bernardine passes this on to her chefs and cooks who operate in a professional kitchen.

These things allow them to offer good food at affordable prices. Let’s start with my favorite –Pinakbet with Lechon Kawali.

It’s healthy and sinful at the same time. Balance!

Speaking of healthy, try the Pan Fried Fish Fillet.

I love how it’s served with a salad on top.

They also have sizzling dishes. The Sizzling Sisig is a messy delight.

They also have American dishes on their menu. Another favorite of mine is the Barbecue Spare Ribs.

I love how it’s sweet and tangy at the same time. The sauce goes all the way to the bones which invites you to lick the bones clean. It should be very easy considering that the meat falls of the bone.

They also have the All American Burger.

I was so full when I got to try it but I couldn’t help but have several huge bites.

They also serve wings. They’re actually one of the first ones to serve wings in different varieties back when they still had their sports bar. The Garlic Parmesan and Sweet Baby wings complement each other so order both!

Mam Bernardine is also pretty proud of her A La Bruschetta Marinara.

I can see why! It’s really good.

They also serve desserts! Make sure to save room for the Banana Hazelnut Crepe.

Then make more room for the Assorted Brownies and Red Velvet Crinkles.

Being a café, they have a lot of drinks including this Mocha Oreo Frappe.
