There’s no question that Lipa City is filled with smart and beautiful women. The annual Miss Lipa Tourism pageant is proof of that.

Look around you and that’s another proof of that.

If you need more proof, Lipa City’s very own Ms. Celline Negosa has just been crowned as Miss Philippines 2018 – All Nations! This means that this year, we’ll have a Lipeña representing the whole country at an international pageant!

About Celline Negosa

If her name sounds familiar, it’s because she competed at last year’s Miss Lipa Tourism. She performed well and this is why she captured the attention of people in the pageant industry.

She’s currently busy preparing for her international pageants this year. We asked her for a short interview so our followers can get to know her better and being the kind woman that she is (she also won the Miss Congeniality award at the said pageant!), she of course agreed!

My experience during my MissPH2018 journey was a roller coaster ride. There are ups and downs. Happy and sad moments. But I can say that through this experience it helped me to grow as a person.

One of the challenging experiences I encountered was being “culture shocked” because I encountered different people with different cultures from different cities. I overcame it because I accepted and supported individual diversities. We people should learn the art of LIPA. Art of Love Initiate Practice and Appreciate.

I felt so much emotional that time because I didn’t expect anything. But God is great. He gave us (Lipeños) a great year-end blessing.

Given the chance, how can you help your fellow Lipeños as Miss Philippines – All Nations?

If I will be given a chance to help my co-Lipeños, I will help them to dream big. Because nothing is impossible and dreaming is priceless. I want to inspire and empower other people that anything is possible. Believe in perfect timing. There is no elevator to success you should always take the stairs for you to have that success.

A modern Lipeña is not afraid to try, is not afraid to go out of her comfort zone, and is not afraid to say no. A MODERN LIPEÑA CAN STAND BY HER DECISION. LASTLY, A MODERN LIPEÑA IS OPEN FOR A CHANGE.

Lipeñas are perfect for pageants because we are strong enough to overcome challenges. We are very flexible and a Lipeña is a total package individual and we are not afraid to try. A true Lipeña is not only about beauty but a true Lipeña builds a strong image with a very sweet heart.

What’s your message to your fellow Lipeñas aspiring to follow in your footsteps?

My message is that you should always trust God’s perfect timing. Attitude is very important. Be sensitive enough. Practice the art of LIPA. Love Initiate Practice and Appreciate. Dream big and believe in yourself. Never compare yourself to anyone. Love yourself, be humble and always put God at the center of your life.

Good Luck, Celline Negosa!

Once again, congratulations, Celline! Good luck! We’re here to support your future endeavors!
