You know who Venice Manalo is. At the very least, you’ve seen her in pictures and videos of our features. She’s very visible in our features because she’s our brand ambassadress!

How did this happen? We here in Hello Lipa supports Lipa City tourism. We try our best to support it because we know the important role that it plays.

Of course, this comes with the responsibility of supporting the Lipa City Tourism Council and its projects. One of its biggest and most known projects is the Miss Lipa Tourism.

We helped promote and cover the pageant. We also wanted to pick a brand ambassadress – someone who can help us promote Lipa City establishments and the city in general.

An empowered woman with roles to fulfill to influence others in different societal aspects, a woman who embodies strength, flexibility, courage, intellect and social consciousness and advocacies to somehow change the world she is in. That for me is an epitome of a modern lipena.

As a Class A City, it should be vital that the tourism aspect is very inviting and income generating. In the past Lipa was one of the well known municipalities in the world because of coffee. I feel proud because for me it doesn’t only symbolize progress and trade but it shows how hardworking Lipeños are to produce such product. It also means bravery and courage. Until now thatch our trademark and we can bring back the glorious days of Lipa if we work together

If you have friends visiting Lipa City, where would you take them?

I will bring my friends to Lipa Cathedral for them to see the beauty of our historical church.

How would you describe Lipa City to a tourist?

Youth Empowerment through Value Driven initiatives and fundraising projects. The young people are the ones active in social media and updated of the events around us. Therefore, they can be tapped and be involved in tourism through empowerment. It’s a program to give them awareness on the value of tourism in ones place particularly Lipa. It would be easy to promote Lipa tourism if these young people are driven with sense of values for the love of environment, history and culture. And all these would also be possible through some fund raising projects like what other municipalities are doing to sustain all the projects and to maintain the beauty of the environment they are promoting. This is possible through the collective effort of all sectors and the role of the young is very important so that the strong foundation in doing such projects is in place.

How would you describe a typical Lipeña?

Here in Lipa, I see Lipeñas supporting Lipeñas. Women should not see one another as competitors but as comrades. A lot of women initiated projects for the country are successful because of their collective effort. Women should symbolize unity and empowerment.
