1. Can you please introduce yourself to our followers?
Hello everyone I’m Alexandra Faminial one of the Miss Lipa Tourism candidates and I’m glad that you’re reading this today.
2. Can you describe your usual day?
My usual day is very simple. During the day when I’ve got no work to do, class or event to attend to, I usually go to any coffee shop I like around Lipa. I read books there, write or meet my friends at home. I talk with my siblings and parent. Do my workout routine & my skincare routine. I also read blogs on the internet and bake sometimes.
3. Can you describe the modern Lipeña?
A modern Lipeña is fierce, bold, wise and capable. Has sincere love and care to her City and can say with 100% of pride that she’s a Lipeña wherever she goes. Flashing her smile and hospitality to everyone she sees and meet.
4. What’s your favorite Lipeño food?
Lomi actually it’s also because my aunt has a lomi house where I serve every weekend.
5. What made you decide to join Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
Because I realize that I have this blessing to influence other people and being Miss Lipa Tourism is a perfect way for me to speak out my opinions & give encouraging words to others especially to women who thinks they are less of who they are.
6. Why do you think you should win Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
There are a lot of beautiful, sexy, and intelligent girls out there. But what I can say about myself is that I have this innate desire to carry not just the crown but the responsibility behind it. I genuinely wanna serve the City most specially my fellow Lipeños in any way I could extend my hand on. I believe that this community, this world needs a woman with a genuine heart to serve, sincere powerful word to influence, and determined body to act. If it’s Gods will & I reign as the Miss Lipa Tourism 2020 I will make sure that I will be felt by our fellow Lipeños.
7. How do you plan on helping your fellow Lipeños as a candidate of Miss Lipa Tourism 2020?
Through promoting what we have in Lipa. The quality products and amazing place that we have. These things are something we should take the pride to lift up. This is not a job or responsibility it is more like a privilege. There is nothing greater than seeing your dear Lipa City and fellow Lipeños step up or level up. I will also plant people with good words to cast out negativities. Because tourism is not just the food, products and places that make people stay or love a place. It is the hospitality and genuine care we show people.
8. What is your advocacy?
My advocacy is women empowerment even before I join this pageant this is really my advocacy. I truly believe to what Michelle Obama said that “There is no limit to what we women can accomplish” as a 19 year old women who’d been through tough times. I wanna be a role model to every woman especially in my generation where people say that we are reluctant, lack or persistency and weak. I wanna break that stigma and encourage women that we are more than what the society dictates us or what the social media says that behind our fancy photos is a strong woman with leadership. I wanna vanish negativity, erase crab mentality and have a sense of perspective towards equality. We are more than just our bodies we are strong and unbreakable.
9. What’s your message to your fellow Lipeños?
Let’s walk as one for our dear Lipa City. Let’s start loving it by simply promoting it in our little ways. Cleaning our own background having proper segregation in your chains or house is already a show of love and care to our City. Walk with me through this journey. And to my generation let’s empower our City through featuring our products and places in our social media accounts. Showing the world what we got with our full pride. Because if we do this together that is power.
10. Why do you deserve to be chosen as the Hello Lipa Brand Ambassadress?
Simply because I sincerely love Lipa really from my heart since I was born and raised here. Whether I win this pageant or not. I will not stop promoting Lipa our restaurants, places,food and the people as what I really do even before I joined this pageant. Because if you really love what you’re doing everything comes naturally you enjoy it with or without in return.
11. Anything else you want to tell us?
